Where your data lives and how to delete it
The short version: your conversations are yours, encrypted, and deletable. The details live on the security and privacy pages; this is the practical answer.
Where it lives
- Audio and transcripts are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest with managed keys.
- Processing happens under your account — transcripts, meeting notes, people profiles, and insights are built for you, visible to you, and scoped to your account.
- No training on your data. Your conversations are never used to train models — ours or anyone else's.
What the roadmap adds
Per-user encryption keys and on-device processing are in development. Today's posture is managed-key encryption at rest — strong, but not end-to-end. If that's a hard requirement for your use case, the security page describes exactly what exists now.
Deleting your data
Account deletion is real deletion: conversations, transcripts, people profiles, insights, and derived data are removed with the account. Audio files in encrypted cloud storage expire automatically on a fixed retention schedule rather than lingering indefinitely. Deleting the app alone doesn't delete the account — delete the account from inside Fluent (or via contact) if that's what you want.
If you'd rather keep the account but purge selectively, individual conversations can be deleted without touching the rest of your history.

Does Fluent train AI models on my conversations?
No. Your audio and transcripts are never used to train models — not ours, not anyone else's.
Is my audio encrypted?
Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest with managed keys. Per-user encryption and on-device processing are on the roadmap.
If I delete my account, is the data actually gone?
Yes — account deletion removes your conversations, transcripts, profiles, and derived data right away. Stored audio is encrypted and expires automatically on a fixed retention schedule. It's a deletion, not a deactivation.
