Fluent uses these services to process data on our behalf. Formantic, our speaker-recognition and transcription service, is part of Feral Intelligence, so it is not listed here. The same services are described in our privacy policy.

Services that receive your content

These can receive your audio, or text from your transcripts and notes.

  • Anthropic

    AI that finds tasks, commitments and facts about people in your conversations, writes daily insights and people profiles, and rewrites notes into a template.

    What it receives: Text from your transcripts, sent through Anthropic's business API.

  • OpenAI

    AI that writes meeting notes, briefs, goal scores and rewrites, and makes titles, highlights, safety checks and search embeddings.

    What it receives: Text from your transcripts and notes, sent through OpenAI's business API.

  • Deepgram

    Live speech-to-text in the live meeting feature.

    What it receives: Audio streamed from your phone during live transcription.

  • Amazon Web Services

    Cloud hosting and storage, our AI fallback (Amazon Bedrock) and the service emails we send (Amazon SES).

    What it receives: Everything Fluent stores, including audio, transcripts and notes; your email address for service emails.

  • Apple

    Push notifications through the Apple Push Notification service.

    What it receives: Your device's push address and the notifications we send, which can name a person and a commitment from your conversations.

  • Cloudflare

    Our website, API and web app sit behind Cloudflare, the bot check on our demo and free tool pages is Cloudflare Turnstile, and Cloudflare routes the email sent to our @becomefluent.io addresses.

    What it receives: Requests and responses to our website, API and web app pass through its network, including the transcripts, notes and tasks the API returns, and the email you send to our @becomefluent.io addresses.

Services that receive account, billing, usage or delivery data

These do not receive your conversation content.

  • Auth0

    Sign-in and account management.

    What it receives: Your name, email address and sign-in details.

  • RevenueCat

    App Store subscription management.

    What it receives: Subscription and purchase records. It has no access to your conversation data.

  • Stripe

    Payments for Fluent Teams workspaces.

    What it receives: The buyer's email address, internal workspace and account identifiers and the seat count. The payer's name, billing address and payment details are entered on Stripe's own page.

  • Sentry

    Crash and performance reports.

    What it receives: Reports about what the app was doing when something went wrong, linked to your account. They never include your audio recordings.

  • PostHog

    Product usage analytics.

    What it receives: Which screens and features you use, your app version and device model, linked to your account. Never your audio, transcripts or conversation content.

Website only

Used on becomefluent.io, not in the app.

  • Google Analytics

    Counting visits to our website. The app does not use it.

    What it receives: Website visit data.

When this list changes

We email the admin of every team workspace, and post the change on this page, at least 30 days before we add a sub-processor or change what one does with your data. Questions or objections: support@becomefluent.io.
