Calendar agent: Fluent suggests the event when a conversation settles on a day
Fluent is an iPhone app that takes AI notes on your conversations; when one settles on a day, like "Thursday at three," its calendar agent suggests the event, and it goes on your Google or Apple Calendar when you tap Add.
You said "Thursday at three." Fluent remembered.
Someone in the meeting said "let's pick this up Thursday at three." You said "works for me." By Thursday, it's not on your calendar and nobody remembers agreeing to it.
Turn on Calendar in Settings → Automations & Integrations and the Calendar Agent watches for plans like that one. When a conversation settles on a day, it suggests the event and waits for you. Tap Add and it's on your calendar.
How it works
Fluent hears the plan
A line in the meeting: "Can we walk through the Q3 numbers Tuesday at ten?" Fluent catches plans that name a day. Vague ones like "let's grab time sometime" are skipped on purpose.
Fluent suggests the event
It drafts a short title, the day and time that were said, and a length, with the exact quote attached so you can see where it came from.
You tap Add
Suggestions wait in Fluent's calendar review. Tap Add and the event lands on your own Google or Apple Calendar. Nothing goes on your calendar without you, and nothing is sent to anyone else.
The honest part about agentic AI
Most "agentic AI" demos are videos. A model claims it took an action. The action either didn't happen or happened in a sandbox that wasn't your real life.
Fluent's Calendar Agent does one specific thing: it takes a plan you made out loud, with a day attached, and turns it into an event on your own calendar when you say so. It doesn't read your availability, pick a time for you, or send invites. It closes the gap between "let's do Thursday" and Thursday actually being on your calendar.
It's not a general agent. It's a small, reliable step that you stay in control of.
