The visit report, written from what was said.

Field sales happens on plant floors, at loading docks and in back offices, not on Zoom. Fluent records the visit on the iPhone in your pocket or a paired Limitless or Omi pendant, and turns it into notes: what the customer said, what you promised and what they asked for.

No bot, no extra device to buy, nothing for the customer to install.

Most AI note takers join video calls. An outside rep's day is six stops, a few hundred miles and a visit report written from memory at 6 pm. Fluent is AI notes for the visits themselves: each one becomes a speaker-labeled transcript with every commitment pulled out, its owner and any date that was said, and a summary when you ask for one.

Notes for every stop

Each visit becomes its own conversation with a speaker-labeled transcript, and a summary when you ask for one, so the visit report starts from what the customer actually said.

What you promised, with a date

"I'll get you pricing on the 40-case pallets by Thursday." Fluent records it as a commitment with you as the owner and Thursday as the date, and can send it to Apple Reminders or Google Tasks.

What they promised you

The purchase order they said they'd send, the sample feedback they'll get you next week. Their commitments are kept too, and come back when it's time to check.

Every account's people, remembered

What each buyer cares about and has told you builds up on their profile, visit after visit. Before the next visit, read the profile instead of last month's notes.

One route day

8:30, a plant walk at Halden Foods. On the line, the operations manager mentions that their current supplier missed two deliveries last month. You say you'll send a delivery schedule by Friday. Fluent turns it into a commitment: delivery schedule to Marcus, due Friday, with the words you said it in.

11:00, a drop-in at a distributor. The buyer asks for samples of the new liner and a quote for 200 cases. That's two asks and two items on your list, without a notebook on the counter.

Between stops, you skip the parking-lot notes. Each visit lands in Fluent once it uploads, with the commitments already pulled out, and becomes meeting notes when you ask for them.

6:00 pm, the visit reports. Instead of rebuilding six conversations from memory, you write from six sets of notes, and send the buyer the notes on a one-time link. The transcript goes with them; the audio never does.

Who each one is for

A call recorder fits if…

  • Your selling happens on scheduled Zoom or Teams calls a bot can join.
  • You need team-wide call libraries and rep scorecards.
  • What's missing is route planning and check-ins: that's a field sales CRM's job.

Fluent fits if you're…

  • An outside rep whose customers are on plant floors, at counters and in back offices.
  • A territory manager writing visit reports from memory at the end of the day.
  • A distributor or manufacturer's rep keeping promises across dozens of accounts.
  • Anyone who'd rather check notes than type them in a parking lot.

Where Fluent listens

The visits that never touch a video call:

  • Customer site visits, plant walks and walk-throughs.
  • Drop-ins, counter visits and back-office meetings.
  • Trade shows and distributor events.
  • Ride-alongs, and the debrief with your manager afterward.
  • Captured on iPhone or a paired Limitless or Omi pendant.
  • Your audio in your own account: encrypted at rest, never sold, never used to train AI models.

What Fluent captures, and what it doesn't

Fluent records the room. Start a recording on your iPhone and set it on the desk, or let a paired Limitless or Omi pendant pick it up. A phone recording has no length limit of its own, only your plan's monthly transcription minutes, so a long plant walk is one recording. On a day of back-to-back visits, a pendant saves you starting and stopping each time.

iOS doesn't let apps record phone calls, so the calls you make from the car stay out of scope, and Fluent never joins a Zoom or Teams call as a bot. Fluent doesn't connect to a CRM: it gives you the notes, and you write the visit report from them. Transcription is English only today.

Recording a customer is your call, not the software's. Some US states require everyone's consent, and many customers have their own rules, so say at the start of the visit that you're taking notes with Fluent. The recording consent guide covers how professionals handle it.

Questions

Do I need a separate recording device?

No. Fluent records from the iPhone you already carry. If you own a Limitless or Omi pendant, pair it for hands-free capture across a full day of visits.

Can Fluent write my CRM visit report?

Fluent doesn't connect to a CRM. It gives you what a visit report needs: each commitment with its owner and any date that was said, a speaker-labeled transcript, and a summary when you ask for one, so you write the report from what was said rather than from memory.

Can it record my calls from the car?

No. iOS doesn't let third-party apps record phone calls. Fluent records conversations in the room, on your iPhone or a paired pendant.

Will the customer see anything?

There's no bot and nothing for the customer to install. Recording laws still apply: in all-party-consent states, ask before you record.

Which languages does it transcribe?

English only, today.

What does it cost?
