Questions
Does Fluent work for in-person research sessions?
Yes. A paired pendant or your phone captures the room audio — home visits, coffee-shop interviews, walkthroughs — and produces a speaker-attributed transcript plus summary. Nothing appears on a screen between you and the participant.
Can I look across all the interviews in a study?
In the app, you find a conversation by its title, preview or who was in it; search doesn't cover transcript text. To ask across a study's interviews, connect Fluent to Claude through its MCP server: Claude can search the transcripts and answer from them.
How does this compare to a call-recording bot?
Bots cover remote sessions on a link. Fluent covers the fieldwork — the sessions bots can't attend — and keeps everything in one record alongside your other conversations.
What about participant confidentiality?
Recordings and transcripts are encrypted at rest and never used to train models. You control retention — request a copy of what the study needs, and delete your account when it ends. Disclosure and consent remain part of your research protocol.
