Getting started
Commit to a day, or say you won't
"I might send you the deck by Friday" is easy to say and easy to forget, and the other person may still be waiting for it. When you hedge on a promise to someone in a meeting, Fluent asks you to decide.
The card
On the meeting's memory, a card names the person and what they may be waiting for, for example David may be expecting the rollout deck. It asks you to Commit to a day, or tell David you won't, and sometimes suggests a line to say, such as Try: "I'll send you the rollout deck Friday".
- Tap Commit and pick a day: Today, Tomorrow, Fri, Next Mon, or No date. It becomes a task with that due date.
- Tap Not doing it if you won't, and the card goes away.
On a Friday the Friday option reads Next Fri, and a day that's already listed isn't shown twice.
Turn it on or off
Commitment coaching is on by default. To turn it off, open Settings, then Coaching, and switch off Commitment coaching.

How often will I see these cards?
At most one per meeting. If you close or ignore three cards in a row, Fluent stops showing them and keeps hedges on the Maybes list in Tasks instead. Act on one there and the cards come back.
How do I turn it off?
Open Settings, then Coaching, and switch off Commitment coaching. It's on by default.
Is this the same as a coaching session?
No. The card appears on its own after a meeting. Coaching sessions are a separate feature you start yourself.
