Troubleshooting
Pendant connection problems
The pendant card in Settings → Connections is the source of truth — it shows Connected, Connecting, Connection lost, or Bluetooth off. Work the list in order; most problems resolve in the first two steps.
The checklist
- Bluetooth on. If the card says Bluetooth is off, that's the whole problem. Also confirm Fluent has Bluetooth permission in iOS Settings.
- Pendant awake and charged. A pendant that slept or died doesn't advertise. Charge it, wake it, scan again.
- Close the vendor app. If the Limitless or Omi app is holding the connection, Fluent can't get it. Quit the other app — you don't have to uninstall it, just release the pendant.
- Range. Bluetooth is meters, not rooms. Keep the pendant near the phone for pairing.
- Reconnect or re-pair. Tap the pendant card to retry. If it's stuck, clear the saved device from the card and run the pairing flow fresh.
- Restart the last resort. Toggle Bluetooth off/on, then restart Fluent. Pairing state is stored — a clean re-pair almost always resolves a stuck connection.
Captured but not appearing
Audio on the pendant still has to reach the cloud and get processed. A weak connection delays upload; long recordings take longer to transcribe and analyze. If conversations are hours late — not minutes — check that you haven't hit your plan's monthly conversation count, then contact us with roughly when the conversation happened.
Still stuck
Send us the pendant model (Limitless or Omi), what the pendant card shows, and when it last worked — contact gets a human.

Related questions
My pendant doesn't show up in the scan — why?
Almost always one of three things: Bluetooth is off on the iPhone, the pendant is out of charge or asleep, or another app is holding its connection. Wake the pendant, kill the other app, scan again.
The pendant was connected and now shows 'Connection lost' — what happened?
Bluetooth range, a dead pendant battery, or iOS suspending the connection. Tap the pendant card to reconnect; if it won't, clear the saved device and re-pair from scratch.
Conversations are recorded but not showing up — is it broken?
Usually not. Transcription and analysis run after upload — on a slow connection or a long day of audio there's a processing lag. If hours pass with nothing, check your plan's conversation count and contact us.
