Do I need a Limitless or Omi account to pair?

No. Fluent pairs with the pendant directly over Bluetooth. No vendor account, no API key, and no dependence on either company's cloud.

Can Fluent connect to both a Limitless and an Omi?

Yes. The pairing flow is the same for both. Fluent auto-detects the pendant type when it appears in the scan list.

Does pairing replace the pendant's own app?

No — you can keep the Limitless or Omi app installed. Fluent is an independent software layer; pairing doesn't change anything on the vendor side.

Pair your Limitless or Omi pendant

Fluent talks to your pendant directly over Bluetooth. There's no account to link and no cloud handoff — pairing takes about a minute.

Pair the pendant

Charge the pendant and keep it near your iPhone. Bluetooth range is short; have it on the desk, not in another room.
Download Fluent from the App Store and sign in.
Open Settings → Connections. The pendant card sits at the top.
Tap to scan. Fluent lists nearby supported pendants — Limitless and Omi devices both appear.
Select your pendant. Fluent connects directly and starts receiving audio when the pendant captures it.

If iOS asks for Bluetooth permission, allow it — Fluent can't see the pendant without it.

What happens next

Once paired, Fluent keeps the connection alive in the background. Audio streams to your phone, gets transcribed, and lands in your account as conversations — transcripts, then meeting notes, people profiles, and daily insights on top.

To pull in history from before you installed Fluent, Limitless owners can also import their cloud lifelogs — that's optional and separate from pairing.

If it doesn't pair

Make sure Bluetooth is on, the pendant is charged and awake, and no other app is holding the connection. If the card shows Connection lost, tap it to reconnect, or clear the saved device and scan again. The full checklist is in pendant connection problems.
