What happened to Rewind

Rewind started as a Mac app with a seductive premise — everything on your screen, indexed and searchable. The same team pivoted to the Limitless Pendant in 2023–24, and the pendant became the product while Rewind ran in parallel as the desktop legacy.

Then Meta acquired Limitless in December 2025. Pendant sales halted, Rewind's sunset began, and existing users were folded onto the Limitless Unlimited Plan with a year of committed backend support. The team's work continues inside Meta — glasses-shaped now, not pendant- or Mac-shaped.

Is Rewind still available?

No. The Rewind Mac app was sunset after the team became Limitless, and Limitless was acquired by Meta in December 2025. Existing users were moved to the Limitless Unlimited Plan; the standalone Rewind product line is winding down.

Does Fluent record my screen like Rewind did?

No — and it's the honest boundary. Rewind's idea was total recall of your Mac: screen, audio, everything. Fluent captures the conversation half of that vision — the meetings, calls, and in-person moments — and turns them into notes, commitments, and profiles. Screen recording is a different product.

Does Fluent work on Mac?
